Isparta University of Applied Sciences (IUAS) took part in EAIE 2026 Conference and Exhibition in Glasgow, one of the leading events in the field of international higher education, bringing together universities and higher education institutions from around the world.
Representing IUAS, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Özçelik and Erasmus
Institutional Coordinator Lecturer Yakup Sönmez held numerous meetings with
representatives of universities and higher education institutions at the IUAS stand. In addition,
visits to the stands of institutions from different countries provided valuable
opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new avenues for
international cooperation.
During the event, we also had the opportunity to represent
our university at the Study in Türkiye
Pavilion, engaging with international partners and contributing
to the global visibility of Turkish higher education. We would like to express
our sincere appreciation to the Turkish National Agency for
its valuable support and for providing an important platform that enables
Turkish universities to strengthen their presence within the global higher
education community.
As a result of these meetings, bilateral
cooperation agreements were signed, while potential opportunities for
student and staff mobility, joint academic activities, Erasmus+ projects, and
other forms of international collaboration were discussed.
EAIE 2026 provided an important platform for IUAS to enhance its
international visibility, strengthen its existing partnerships, and establish
new connections within the global higher education community.
In line with its internationalisation vision, IUAS will continue to
strengthen its position within global higher education networks and create new
international opportunities for its students and academic and administrative
staff.
