As one of our Erasmus+ KA131 partner institutions, Associate Professor Giuseppe Massimino Cocuzza, a faculty member of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment at the University of Catania (Università di Catania) in Italy, delivered a seminar titled "Biological Control Approach of Emerging Pest in Mediterranean Crops: An Italian Perspective." Held on Wednesday, 24 June 2026 at the Small Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Agriculture, the seminar addressed biological control approaches to pests emerging in Mediterranean crops, recent scientific developments in the field, and current practices carried out in Italy. Attended by our academic staff, students, and stakeholders interested in the topic, the event made valuable contributions to the international exchange of knowledge and experience. We extend our sincere thanks to Associate Professor Giuseppe Massimino Cocuzza for his valuable presentation and academic contributions, to Prof. Dr. Ozan Demirözer for his dedication and efforts in the planning and successful realization of the mobility, and to all our academic staff, students, and stakeholders who participated in the seminar. We hope that such international mobility activities will continue to strengthen our institution's network of academic collaboration.
